Meet Zaza
A passionate and experienced coach & mentor, who’s on a mission to motivate and inspire Kiwi youth.
My Story
Originally born in South Africa, I grew up fascinated by the world. At age ten, my family moved to New Zealand, a place I now proudly call home.
I completed my schooling in Auckland, where I was primarily motivated by sports and hands-on learning. I competed in several sports, notably excelling in soccer and cricket. I remain active today, pursuing hiking trails, rock climbing routes, and surf breaks around the world.
Upon completion of high school, I furthered my education with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation.
My early career included working for Counties Manukau Sport and coaching soccer at Pakuranga College, experiences that established my commitment to youth development.
After graduating, I spent ten years traveling across the USA, Central and South America, Europe, and Asia. During this time, I volunteered with various churches, recreation centers, and sports teams around the world, gaining a global perspective on community support and cross-cultural engagement.
I have now returned to Aotearoa to apply these international insights toward supporting our local community. In response to the challenges of the past few years, I established Future Footprints to inspire and facilitate the growth and maturity of our children and youth.
I look forward to the possibility of working together to support our community.
